This Project is a new two-story, 40,000 sq. ft. building and will consist of approximately 19,000 sq. ft. of wet laboratory and laboratory support space and approximately 21,000 sq. ft. of enclosed and open office space, conference rooms, and break rooms. Some key building features include:

Biosafety Level 2 wet labs with laboratory grade utility systems, such as purified water, instrument grade compressed air, and laboratory vacuum; A large number of chemical fume hoods and a sophisticated laboratory exhaust system; Support spaces, including procedure rooms, tissue culture rooms, autoclave/sterilization, and controlled environment rooms. The scope of work shall also include site work, installation of underground utilities, grading and paving, and site landscaping.

S.J. Amoroso Construction is willing to break out certain portions of work into smaller increments in order to allow smaller companies a fair opportunity to bid this Project and are prepared to assist subcontractors with bonding, credit, and insurance.

S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. is bidding the NASA / AMES Research Center in Mountain View, CA. Engineer's Estimate is over $10,000,000. They are actively pursuing compliance with the SBE business goals and would appreciate your bid on this project. The SBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 40%, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) 9%, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) 5%, HUBZone (HBZ) Small Business 1%, Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) 3% and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) 2%. Bids are due August 19, 2016, at 4 PM.
