The objective of the Project SLTI, located in Sunol, includes the construction of a new Sunol Corporation Yard along with a new facility called the Watershed Center. The Work is to be performed in Sunol, California.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $25,000,000 and $27,000,000.

S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. is bidding the above referenced project. They are actively pursuing compliance with the LBE business goals and would appreciate your bid on this Project. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 15% and ONLY San Francisco (LOCAL) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 15% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: Earthwork, Paving, Trucking and Hauling, Pipeline Construction, Pipeline Appurtenances, General and Architectural Concrete Work, Reinforcing Steel, Paving, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Waterproofing, Exhibit Fabrication, Aquarium and Floor Covering.

Project Description: The project will involve the reconstruction of the SFPUC’s approximately 7.5 acre Sunol Corporation Yard located in Sunol. CA. The project will include such facilities as: a new 11,000 sq. ft. administration building, four (4) new pre-manufactured shop buildings of various sizes, three (3) new 8,000 sq. ft. pre-manufactured covered storage structures, a new fueling station as well as various other Civil site work, utility, and security improvements. The Work is to be performed in Sunol, CA.

PLEASE NOTE: S.J. Amoroso Construction is requesting bids by Noon on August 25, 2016 (Bid Date) in order for your bid to be considered. They are willing to break out certain portions of work into smaller increments in order to allow smaller companies a fair opportunity to bid this project and are prepared to assist subcontractors with bonding, credit, and insurance.

Thompson Builders Corporation is signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price may be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.
