Description

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (the City), seeks to retain the services of a pre qualified design-build firm to provide design-build services for Contract No. DB-127 - Warnerville Substation Rehabilitation Project. Design-build services will include, but not be limited to, turnkey planning, design, engineering, labor, materials procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the Warnerville Substation with two new transformers (300 MVA) replacing the three existing transformers (150MVA, 75 MVA, 75MVA).

Construction Estimate is $26.8 Million.

Description

EPC Services Company, a subsidiary of Electrical Consultants, Inc., is bidding a substation rehabilitation project for the SFPUC. The project involves the installation of two 300 MVA autotransformers, multiple high voltage breakers (115 kV & 230 kV), a prefabricated control building, and miscellaneous other structures and equipment.

Is support of the above project, EPCS is soliciting general Statements of Qualification from qualified LBE subcontractors with experience in the following areas:

• Geotechnical Engineering & Inspection
• Site Surveying
• Civil Engineering
• Civil Construction (grading, fencing, and foundations)
• Equipment Rental
• Special Inspection (soils, concrete, bolting, etc.)
• High Voltage Equipment & Material Supply (xfmrs, breakers, insulators, bus work)
• Office Trailers & Sanitation (porta potties, etc.)
• Site Security
• Trucking

Interested firms shall notify EPCS via email of their interest by July 28th and submit a general Statement of Qualifications for the applicable scope areas by August 1st.
