The Project is generally described as: General School Modernization and reconstruction including hazardous material/asbestos remediation, new wall framing, new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, installation of a new elevator and new wheelchair lift, structural upgrades, new windows, new floor, wall and ceiling finishes and exterior site work including exterior utilities, ramps, handrails and asphalt paving. In addition, this project includes Proposition 39 funded work related to the installation of a condensing boiler system and associated piping, mechanical unit replacements, HVAC controls, lighting upgrades, window replacements and an efficient cooler.
