The Project is generally described as electrical, lighting and audiovisual theatrical improvements to the existing auditorium that include the following:
a. Replacement of the existing rigging system.
b. Replacement of theater and house lights.
c. Upgrade of stage draperies.
d. Removal of audience chamber ceiling and new paint.
e. Construction of temporary physical barrier platform between chamber ceiling to be demolished and existing auditorium seating and aisles to be protected.
f. Acoustical material finishes.
g. New control room at rear of audience chamber.
h. Audio-visual upgrades for speakers, mixing panels, microphones, sound system.
i. Upgrades to the electrical panels and circuits serving the auditorium.
j. Repair of existing smoke hatches at stage area.
k. Hazardous materials abatement.

Engineer's Estimate is $900,000

Zolman Construction & Development, Inc., as a "GENERAL CONTRACTOR" is requesting quotations on "ALL TRADES" from all qualified Subcontractors and Suppliers, including DVBE, LBE, DBE, SBE, MBE, WBE firms for the following project: AUDITORIUM THEATRICAL UPGRADE AT HERBERT HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL (Project #11805) located at 2290 14th Ave., San Francisco, CA 94116. BIDS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN February 9, 2017, at 2 PM.
