Bus stop relocations (signs, bus shelters, and other amenities as noted), concrete curb ramps, median curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, landscape/ irrigation, traffic signal modifications, GPS-based transit signal priority (TSP) equipment, infrared-based emergency vehicle preemption (EVP) equipment, conduit, pull boxes, traffic signal interconnect cable installation and terminations, pavement delineations, and roadside signs. Work is at various locations in Alameda County and cities of San Leandro, Hayward and Union City.

Thompson Builders Corporation, an Equal Opportunity Employer, as a "General Contractor" is requesting bids from ALL and DBE Subcontractors, Suppliers and Truckers for the project known as: LINE 97 TRANSIT PERFORMANCE INITIATIVE (TPI) PROJECT (IFB #2017-1406) located in Alameda County, CA. Bids are due no later than January 31, 2018, at 11 AM.

Thompson Builders Corporation is signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required. A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price may be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.

TBC is willing to discuss breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation. Their estimating department is available for assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and/or materials.
