The Project is generally described as construction of a new library and office building using a prefabricated modular building system that will fulfill proposed design intent of the project. The Project consists of the demolition of an existing portable building which includes a restroom and adjacent sidewalk retaining walls. The Project also includes earthwork, excavation and backfill, and construction of a custom concrete foundation and sidewalk retaining wall which will replace a portion of an existing retaining wall, along with the utility hookups for the prefabricated modular building that include electrical power, water, sewer, data, phone, fire alarm, and other site improvements. The selected contractor shall coordinate the completion of the foundation with the building manufacturer of the modular building with regard to the arrival and installation of the building units unto the custom foundation. Site grading, paving and drainage and new fencing are included. Some hazardous materials abatement is also involved.
