A Job Order Contract (JOC) is an indefinite quantity contract with a predefined set of bid items that are assigned on a periodic or Task Order basis for the performance of maintenance, repair and minor construction of public works. Contractors bid an adjustment factor to pre-set unit prices, which includes all of the contractor's profit, overhead and indirect costs. Work is accomplished by issuing Task Orders to the JOC Contractor during the five years of the contract term.

The Work for each of the contracts will be performed in San Francisco, including rollup door repair, roof repairs, track, Muni overhead lines, signal, and switchgear Work.
