Description

Work at the District's 10-story Administration Building at 375 11th Street includes upgrading HVAC systems; upgrading uninterrupted power supply (UPS) equipment and power distribution units (PDU); cutting and reinforcing openings in concrete roof; performing structural work associated with equipment supports; demolishing equipment, panels, piping ducts, conduit and wiring on roof and 10th floor; installing new waterproof membrane system on roof; associated power and controls; and all other work shown or specified in the contract documents.

THOMPSON BUILDERS CORPORATION, an Equal Opportunity Employer, as a "General Contractor" is requesting bids from LBE/MBE/WBE/DVBE/SBE/DBE/ME Subcontractors, Suppliers and Truckers for the project known as: ADMINISTRATION BUILDING HVAC SYSTEMS UPGRADE - EBMUD (Project #2130) located at 375 11th St., Oakland, CA 94607. BIDS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 5, 2018, at 1:30 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: THOMPSON BUILDERS IS REQUESTING BIDS BY NOON ON DAY OF BID (DECEMBER 5, 2018).

Thompson Builders Corporation is signatory to both the Carpenters Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Laborers Collective Bargaining Agreement. Certification of insurance for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation are required. A Waiver of Subrogation will also be required with all Subcontract Agreements. Subcontractors’ faithful performance and payment bonds in the amount of the subcontract price may be required. Reasonable market rate bond premium will be reimbursed by Thompson Builders Corporation.

TBC is willing to discuss breaking down bid items into economically feasible units for minority participation. Their estimating department is available for assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and/or materials.
