| Description | The Project is generally described as abatement and demolition for existing finishes, modernization of building systems HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, telecommunications, alarm, security, footing upgrades and seismic improvements to the existing shear walls, new exterior windows and existing exterior finish repair, interior construction and finishes (flooring, ceiling, painting), and accessibility improvements of new bathrooms on every level, new administration offices, and an interior ramped connection to the lower level. The lower level is renovated to include a new library and a fire sprinklered cafeteria. Site work improvements include new ramps and stairs, re-routing of existing utilities, planters and other stormwater management elements, and play yard improvements. PLEASE NOTE: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on this Project and all Contractors and Subcontractors bidding this Project will be required to comply with the PLA.
