The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (“SFPUC”), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (the "City"), seeks to retain the services of a Design-Builder (“DB”) to provide design and construction services for the Bay Corridor Transmission and Distribution ("BCTD") - Phase 2 ("P2") - North Project ("BCTD P2 North Project" or "Project") located in San Francisco, CA.

Design-Build services will include, but are not be limited to, providing design, engineering, permitting, procurement of labor, materials procurement, construction, delivery, installation, and testing of: (1) Scope 1: New underground electrical duct bank and vaults, (2) Scope 2: New Auxiliary Water System Supply (AWSS) ductile iron pipe, (3) Scope 3: New roadway and sidewalk and/or restoration thereof. The SFPUC at its discretion may also call upon the selected Design-Builder to provide other related specialized services at the discretion of the SFPUC.

ESTIMATED COST: $27,542,000

Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 10% Small and Micro for construction work/services. For MBE construction work/services participation follows: 4.3% MBE, 1.3% WBE, 4.4% OBE. Truckers and Material/Equipment Suppliers are requested to forward bids for the following project. Mitchell Engineering encourages subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE and MBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. This also includes requests for Non-LBE/MBE sub/material quotes from qualified subcontractors, trucking firms and material suppliers.

Mitchell Engineering request sub proposals in the format of the bid form for the following trades: Micro-tunneling; Bore & Jack; Electrical; Concrete (includes curb and gutter); Utility Vaults; Traffic Control; Television Inspection; Steel Pipe Casing; Gate Valves; Paving (including Asphalt Concrete and Stripping); Ductile Iron Pipe - Earthquake Resistant DIP; Start up and Testing Coordinator; Trucking (includes off haul of Hazardous Material); Survey; HDPE Pipe; and Testing for the following Project: BAY CORRIDOR TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION - PHASE 2 (2019) NORTH (Contract #DB-129.1) located in San Francisco, CA. Bids are due no later than December 10, 2019, at 2 PM.
