Description

Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:
a. Managing, coordinating, scheduling, and fully accommodating and facilitating the delivery, construction, installation, permitting, on-site inspections, location, placement and functioning of a new +/- 520 SF 8-unit modular restroom bldg adjacent and attached to an existing gymnasium bldg at Alameda Point.
b. Providing / Installing new site improvements including, but not limited to, concrete foundations, stem walls, platforms, ramps, and walkways, new steel handrails and guardrails, new drinking fountains, parking stalls, signage and striping, and miscellaneous landscape/planter repairs and/or replacement.
c. Providing minor site and partial existing building demolition, which includes, but is not limited to, misc. exterior and interior bldg. components, concrete and asphalt concrete sidewalks, walkways, driveways, building slabs and pads, and parking lot.
d. Providing / Installing all required utilities for the new Modular Bldg, along with new bldg pad, footings and foundations, including same for new access walkways, ramps, gates, new chain-link fences and gates, vehicular and pedestrian access routes.
e. Providing / installing new and/or extended existing utilities for new modular building (per the Construction Documents, within five (5’) feet of new bldg) including, but not limited to, sanitary sewer, domestic water, electrical power, fire alarm system, and minor storm drain elements.

NBC CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING, INC. is requesting Proposals on ALL TRADES from all qualified Subcontractors and Suppliers, including DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms for the Project known as: ALAMEDA POINT MODULAR RESTROOM BUILDING (Project #09-20-36) located in Alameda, CA. BIDS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2021, BEFORE 2:00 PM.

All Bidders are hereby notified that provisions of the Labor Code of the State of California regarding prevailing wages shall be applicable to the work performed under this Contract. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1773, the general prevailing wage rates have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations and appear in the California and Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, which can be found at: https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm. Future effective wage rates which have been predetermined and are on file with the CA DIR are referenced but not printed in such publication.
