The work to be done generally consists of installing crosswalk enhancements at three crosswalk locations in Rodeo. Site 1 is located at the intersection of Parker Avenue and 6th Street. Work at this site includes installation of solar rectangular rapid flashing beacons, sidewalk bulb-outs, and extension of the existing median to create a pedestrian refuge area. Site 2 is located on 7th Street at the intersections with Napa Avenue and Vallejo Avenue. Work at Site 2 includes installation of curb ramps, a speed table, solar powered rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and a sidewalk bulb-out. Work at both sites includes installation of striping and pavement markings.

Engineer's Estimate: $242,000

All Bidders are hereby notified that provisions of the Labor Code of the State of California regarding prevailing wages shall be applicable to the work performed under this Contract. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1773, the general prevailing wage rates have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations and appear in the California and Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, which can be found at: https://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/DPreWageDetermination.htm. Future effective wage rates which have been predetermined and are on file with the CA DIR are referenced but not printed in such publication.
