The objective of the Project is to provide redundancy to the aging pipelines of San Francisco’s water distribution system. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes the installation of 8-inch ductile iron pipe and 24-inch earthquake resistant ductile iron pipe, installation of curb ramps, sewer replacement and pavement restoration on Prospect, Fair and Coso Avenues and Coleridge Street. The Work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.

LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. This also includes requests for Non-LBE sub/material quotes from qualified subcontractors, trucking firms, and material suppliers.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades:
Traffic Control; Concrete Work; Grading & Paving; Electrical; Trucking; Saw-cutting; Valves, inc. Ductile Iron Gate Valves; Hazmat Abatement; Pipe Materials; Manholes; Television Inspection; Landscape for the following Project: 8-INCH DUCTILE IRON PIPE AND 24-INCH EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT DUCTILE IRON PIPE WATER MAIN INSTALLATION ON PROSPECT, FAIR AND COSO AVENUES AND COLERIDGE STREET (Contract #WD-2718) located in San Francisco, CA. Bids are due to Owner on July 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM.
