The Work to be done under this Contract is located at Herz Playground, 1701 Visitacion Ave, San Francisco, in John McLaren Park. The Work consists of site improvements with demolition; tree removal; grading; drainage; utility work including a new sewer lateral; structural concrete work including a climbing wall, seat walls and steps; paving; new playground equipment installation; new fencing, site furnishings and signage; new and renovated handrails; a new drinking fountain; planting, installation of boulders and stepping stones, and irrigation; renovation of two restrooms; and hazardous materials abatement. Class "A" License is required to bid.

Engineer's Estimate: $1,945,000

LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20%. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Woman Business Enterprises, (WBE) and Other Business Enterprises (OBE) to perform subcontract work on this 8.5% MBE; 3.6% WBE; 7.9% OBE. Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner operated equipment, or purchase of materials. In addition, "ALL" Material/Equipment Suppliers LBE are requested to forward bids. Mitchell Engineering also encourage non-LBE subcontractors/sub-tiers/material suppliers to submit bids for the following project.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Fencing; Hazardous Material Hauling; Trucking; Light Poles & Fixtures; Electrical; Rebar; Concrete & Concrete Stamping & Painted Ribbons; Handrail; Benches, Picnic Tables; Drinking Fountain; and Trash/Recycling Receptacles for the Project advertised as: HERZ PLAYGROUND RENOVATION located at 1701 Visitacion Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94134 (Sourcing Event ID No. 0000006355). Bids are due to Owner on June 1, 2022, at 2:30 PM.
