The objective of the Project is to construct a bypass piping system between two existing sewer assets in the public or city right-of-way near Cesar Chavez and to enlarge existing air release valves near the intersections of Indiana and 20th Streets and Indiana and 25th Streets. The work includes construction of 48-inch and 66-inch diameter valves and piping; mechanical joints; associated subsurface underground valve-vault (supported on piles); associated mechanical, electrical; I&C work; aboveground electrical controls; PG&E electrical service connection; ARV replacements; associated street restoration; other appurtenances related to the major scopes of work. A Class “A” California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Traffic Control & Traffic Routing; Trucking & Disposal of Hazardous Waste; Flexible Expansion Joint - 66” & 48”; Piping materials including steel pipe; Electrical; Concrete including Concrete Curb & Sidewalk; Air Valves & Air Valve Work; Cone Valves with Hydraulic Actuator; Fence Restoration; Tree Removal & Replanting; Instrumentation installation & removal; Instrument Reading and Evaluation; Transmission Line; Paving; Hydraulic Valve Control Cabinet & Portable Hydraulic Power Unit for the Project advertised as: CHANNEL FORCE MAIN INTERTIE in San Francisco, CA (Contract #WW-723). Bids are due to Owner on September 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
