Description | This Project consists of the removal of two 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks including demolition of surface concrete, concrete planter boxes, fuel pump islands, and other associated site improvements. Excavation shoring, concrete cutting, soil transport, potential clean backfill, and crane services will also be required. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishings of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, services, permits, temporary controls and all general conditions. Description | AEI Consultants, as Prime Contractor, requests sub-bids from LBE, SLBE, certified MBE, and certified WBE trades and material suppliers for the Project advertised as: ALCO PARK UST REMOVAL (Alameda County Project #22127) located at 165 13th Street, Oakland, CA. Prime Contractor bids are due to the County on September 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM. PLEASE NOTE: Sub bids are due no later than SEPTEMBER 7, 2022, at 5:00 PM. This Project has a 60% Local Business Enterprise (LBE), 20% Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE), 15% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), and 5% Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goal. Quotes from LBE, SLBE, MBE and WBE Subcontractors, Suppliers and Truckers are highly encouraged and requested. AEI is willing to breakout any portion of work to encourage DBE participation. Subcontractors must possess a current DIR, Contractors License (if required), and insurance and workers compensation coverage. Assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies is available upon request.
