The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with CMD certified San Francisco Micro and Small LBEs and SFPUC Micro & Small-LBEs. Mitchell Engineering encourages subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. In addition, all Material/Equipment Suppliers LBE are requested to forward bids. Mitchell Engineering also encourages non-LBE subcontractors/sub-tiers/material suppliers to submit bids for the following project. Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Traffic Control; Trucking inc. Disposal of Hazardous Materials; 66" & 84" Diameter Slipline with Reducer; Valves including Blowoff Valves; Manholes; 72"and 90" Diameter WSP; and Landscaping inc. Tree Removal for the Project advertised as: BAY DIVISION PIPELINE NO. 3 AND 4 SLIP LINING AT LAFAYETTE STREET in Santa Clara, CA (Contract #WD-2890R).
