Project consists of the removal of existing black-out curtains and rails at select classrooms, libraries and computer labs ranked “1” and “2” on the campus scorecards. Project also includes the replacement of the black-out curtains and ceiling mounted rails. This work is to occur at 7 school sites within the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District as follows:

Bid Package #C1 consisting of Seaside HS
Bid Package #C2 consisting of Central Coast HS
Bid Package #C3 consisting of Foothill ES, La Mesa ES and Monte Vista ES
Bid Package #C4 consisting of Walter Colton MS
Bid Package #C5 consisting of Monterey HS

Additive Alternates consisting of replacement of the existing ceiling mounted rails and curtain attachments for all classrooms, libraries and computer labs ranked “3” on the campus scorecard. Replace only the tracks that are not working properly and the curtains are not hanging 100% from the hooks. Repair of existing black-out curtains as needed, so the curtains are operable and have no tears.
