The objective of the Project is to replace and improve the existing instream flow release system. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing needle valves and associated pipes, installation of two new axial flow control valves, two new knife gate valves, new pipes, and a new gantry crane. The Work is to be performed in Tuolumne County, California.

Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. Mitchell Engineering also encourage non-LBE subcontractors/sub-tiers/material suppliers to submit bids for the following project.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Commissioning & Startup of Knife Gates; Commissioning & Startup of Valve's, Gantry Crane & Instrumentation; Road Improvements; Electrical; Gantry Crane; Rebar; Concrete - Tunnel, Catwalk, Landing Pad; Valves; Piping Materials; and Knife Gates for the Project advertised as: O’SHAUGHNESSY DAM INSTREAM FLOW RELEASE VALVE REPLACEMENT (Contract #HH-1011) in Tuolumne County, CA. Bids are due to Owner on April 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
