The Project is generally described as: Door hardware replacement and maintenance at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology and Commodore Sloat Elementary School to improve security control at the perimeter of school campus and occupied rooms. This work involves the following:
a. Replace existing cylindrical locksets and panic devices to feature double cylinder function.
b. Provide new doors or retrofit doors to suit new door hardware.
c. Repair or replace door frame to ensure proper security function of door and its lockset.
d. Repair, replace and/or adjust existing defective door hardware in addition to lever lockset/panic device replacement.
e. Install additional door hardware items to ensure proper function of door and security of occupied rooms.
f. Perform work after school hours and weekends.

Estimated Construction Value: $650,000

AUGUST-JAYE CONSTRUCTION, as a General Contractor, is seeking bids from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the Project advertised as: SECURITY LOCKSET REPLACEMENT - PACKAGE 3A AT GALILEO ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND COMMODORE SLOAT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SFUSD Project #11915) located at 1150 Francisco Street & 50 Darien Way in San Francisco, CA. General Contractor bids are due on May 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM.

This Project has a 3% DVBE goal participation. All DVBE's are encouraged to participate. No bond required.

PLEASE NOTE: Subcontractor/Supplier bids are due to August-Jaye Construction NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, MAY 9, 2023, BY 10:00 AM, in order for bids to be considered.
