Scope of Work: located along Folsom Street from 2nd Street to 11th Street in San Francisco, California and consists of pavement renovation, sewer and drainage, AWSS, and environmental work, landscaping & streetscape work, street lighting & traffic signal work, overhead contact system (OCS) & traction power work, traffic control, and all related work.

MITCHELL ENGINEERING, a San Francisco Contractor and Equal Opportunity Employer, request Bids from ALL QUALIFIED AND/OR CERTIFIED FHWA/CALTRANS DBE to meet the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontracting requirement of 23%. DBE firm is certified as DBE at date of bid opening by using the California Unified Certification Program database and possesses the most specific available North American Industry Classification System (NA/CS) codes and Work code applicable to the type of work the firm will perform on the Contract. Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other FHW A/CALTRANS DBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. In addition, all Material/Equipment Suppliers DBE are requested to forward bids for the following project. DBE's and other small business area strongly encouraged to participate in this Contract. Mitchell Engineering shall take necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that DBE's have opportunity to participate in this Contract.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Traffic Control & Traffic Routing; Manholes - Frame, Covers & Catch Basin; Temporary Overlay Markers; Temporary Reflective Pavement Markers; Changeable Message Signs; Electrical Including Valve Stations Wiring; Paving - Detectable Surface Tiles; Landscaping - Trees and Tree Removal; Water Meter, Backflow Units, Gate Valves; Trucking includes Hazardous Waste Disposal; PVC, HDPE Schedule 80; Trash Receptacles, Benches/Seats; Light Poles including Trolley Feeder Poles; Vehicle and Bike Signals, Luminaire; Overhead Contact System, Traffic Signals; Television Inspection and Post Television Inspection of Sewers and Culverts; Concrete - Base, Curb, Gutter, Concrete Island Ramps, Concrete Sparkle, Pavers, Bus Island Rails for the Project advertised as: PW FOLSOM STREETSCAPE PROJECT (FHWA / CALTRANS DBE PROGRAM) in San Francisco, CA (Sourcing Event ID No. 0000004297). Bids are due to Owner on September 20, 2023, at 2:30 PM.
