The project consists of design, construction, permitting, and activation and commissioning of three primary elements:
1. New advanced water treatment facility at the Mel Leong Treatment Plant (MLTP) capable of handling existing discharges of approximately 2MGD from both the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant and MLTP.
2. New treatment process to remove PFAS from all MLTP effluent.
3. Distribution system consisting of a 200,000 gallon storage tank and pump station at MLTP, approximately three (3) miles of force main pipeline, and Title 22 compliant connections including to various airport facilities.

Walsh Construction Company II, LLC (Walsh) is seeking responses to this formal Request for Letter of Interest (RLI) from qualified DBE/SBE subcontractors/suppliers.

Currently, Walsh is solely requesting interest from subcontractors. At a later date, a subcontractor trade package plan will be prepared and published for subcontractor review and a formal pre-qualification and bid solicitation process will be initiated.

There may be opportunities to break out portions of work into economically feasible units to facilitate DBE participation.
