The Project is generally described as, but not limited to, the following items:
a. Demolition and replacement of stage rigging and drapes.
b. Updating theatrical, electrical, audio-visual equipment and lighting systems.
c. Installation of lighting controls.
d. Construction of an audio-visual control workstation booth at the rear of house seating.
e. Salvage portions of existing seating for repair and maintenance stock.
f. Refinishing existing wood stage floor.
g. Conversion of existing dressing room to stage wing storage.
h. Modification of existing fire sprinkler lines to suit new stage rigging set-up.
i. Installation of an automated projection screen with overhead video projector.
j. Miscellaneous interior alterations in Classroom 236 as “green room”.

Estimated Construction Value: $3,000,000

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a General Contractor, is seeking bids from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the Project advertised as: JAMES LICK MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM ALTERATIONS (SFUSD Project #12281) located at 1220 Noe St., San Francisco, CA 94114. General Contractor bids are due on October 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM.

PLEASE NOTE: Subcontractor/Supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 7:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2023, in order for bids to be considered.

Participation Goals: It is the intent of Wickman Development and Construction to reach out to DVBE/LBE/DBE/SBE/MBE/WBE firms and suppliers and provide them with an equal opportunity to bid this project in accordance with the goals established and then to fairly review and choose to include complete and timely submitted bids in our bid to the Owner based on cost.
