The objective of the Project is to replace the San Francisco Zoo’s non-potable groundwater supply with recycled water. The project will construct a 6” DIP recycled water main from Skyline Blvd/Sloat Blvd to 43rd Ave/Sloat Blvd and install mechanical and electrical components to operate the recycled water supply and groundwater backup supply. The Work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.

Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. In addition, all Material/Equipment Suppliers LBE are requested to forward bids. Mitchell Engineering also encourage non-LBE subcontractors/sub-tiers/material suppliers to submit bids for the following project.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Environmental Requirements Site Runoff; Traffic Control; Concrete; Asphalt Concrete Milling; Trucking; Turnout & Flow Meter Vault; Ductile Iron Joint & Flange Fittings; Temp Pavement Marking; Paving; Ultrasonic Water Level Sensors; and Control & Air Valves for the Project advertised as: SAN FRANCISCO ZOO RECYCLED WATER PROJECT (Contract #WD-2895). Bids are due to Owner on December 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
