The objective of the Project includes the installation of 8-inch ductile iron and 16- and 24-inch earthquake resistant ductile iron water pipe, installation of 12- and 15-inch vitrified clay sewer pipe, construction of curb ramps, and pavement renovation. The Work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.

The LBE subcontracting requirement can only be met with CMD certified San Francisco Micro and Small-LBEs.

Mitchell Engineering encourage subcontractors quotes to utilize other LBE firms through second tier subcontracting, owner-operated equipment, or purchase of materials. In addition, all Material/Equipment Suppliers LBE are requested to forward bids. Mitchell Engineering also encourage non-LBE subcontractors/sub-tiers/material suppliers to submit bids for the following project.

Mitchell Engineering will be bidding as a Prime and requests Subcontractors/Vendors and Trucking proposals in the format of the Bid Form for the following trades: Traffic Control & Traffic Routing; Concrete; Television Inspection Existing & Post Const; VCP Sewer Material; Trucking includes Hazardous Waste; Manholes, Frame & Cover; Ductile Iron Pipe and fittings; Ductile Iron Gate Valves; Viscoelastic Joint Wrap Material; and Paving for the Project advertised as: 8-INCH DUCTILE IRON WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT, 16-INCH AND 24-INCH EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT DUCTILE IRON WATER MAIN INSTALLATION, SEWER REPLACEMENT, AND PAVEMENT RENOVATION ON COSO AND PRECITA AVENUES FROM COLERIDGE TO BRYANT (Contract #WD-2720). Bids are due to Owner on February 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
