Description

Submission of a Bid Proposal shall be conclusive evidence that the bidder has satisfied itself through the bidder's own investigation as to the conditions to be encountered, the quality, and scope of work to be performed, the materials and equipment to be furnished and any/all requirements of the Contract Documents. Prospective bidders interested in working with Wickman Development and Construction (WD&C) on this project are encouraged to complete the WD&C Master Subcontractor Agreement. WD&C also assumes no responsibility whatsoever with respect to the accuracy of the contract documents provided by San Rafael City Schools.

Contractors holding C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and/or C-46 licenses (collectively, “MEP subcontractors”) shall be prequalified by the District to perform construction work as a first-tier subcontractor on the Project pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6.

Description

WICKMAN DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION, as a General Contractor, is seeking sub-bids for all trades from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the Project advertised as: VENETIA VALLEY BUILDINGS G AND H ALTERATIONS LEASE-LEASEBACK, located at 177 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael, CA 94903.

Subcontractor/Supplier bids are due to Wickman Development & Construction NO LATER THAN 2:00 PM ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2025, to allow ample time for review.

(Note: WD&C will not be responsible for any technical difficulties using these options. We suggest subcontractors submit their bid early to properly confirm that WD&C has received their bid on time.)

PLEASE NOTE: WD&C will be conducting two (2) onsite Job Walks for all prospective bidders. This is not mandatory, but it is recommended that all prospective bidders attend. All bidders will meet outside at the front of the Venetia Valley School in front of the Multipurpose Building at the “Home of the Falcons” sign. There is to be no interaction with the students or faculty. A WD&C team member will be present to conduct the job walk.

FIRST JOB WALK: Monday, January 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM
SECOND JOB WALK: Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 2:30 PM

All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract documents are to be directed to WD&C via email to: estimating@wickmandev.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued in writing by Addenda. RFIs are due on January 23, 2025, at 2 PM. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
