The Project consists of demolition and construction necessary for the modernization of the existing Laney Theater Building inclusive of the following: extensive modifications for accessibility; a glass curtain wall; lobby extension with new elevator; expanded restrooms/amenities; a new north lobby and entry; upgrades to the 300-seat auditorium, technical theater, and AV systems; upgrades to existing classrooms, visual and sound labs; and replacement of the existing mechanical systems.

Estimated Construction Cost: $30,000,000

LYONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, as a "GENERAL CONTRACTOR", is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DVBE & SLBE firms for the following items of work, including, but not limited to: survey, demolition, structural concrete, polished concrete floor, shotcrete, structural steel, steel decking, misc. metals, rough carpentry, casework, FRP, waterproofing, insulation, metal panels, linear wood panels, SBS roofing, sheet metal, intumescent fireproofing, firestopping, joint sealants, expansion joint cover assemblies, metal doors/frames/hardware, overhead coiling doors/curtains, sound control door assemblies, glazing, storefronts, curtain walls, auto door operators, metal framing & drywall, tiling, acoustical panel ceilings, linear wood ceiling and wall panels, wood grille ceiling, concrete floor sealer, wood flooring, flooring, epoxy floor, acoustical wall & ceiling panels, painting, signage, toilet partitions & accessories, fire extinguishers, phenolic lockers, production rigging & lighting, roller window shades, fixed auditorium seating, machine room-less electric elevators, fire suppression sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, building automation, electrical, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, security, fire alarm, dewatering, earthwork, AC paving, site concrete, and site utilities.
