| Description | The Work covered by this Contract will be performed at the West County Wastewater District’s Water Pollution Control Plant located at 2377 Garden Tract Road, Richmond, CA, 94801 in Contra Costa County. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Replacement of hypochlorite storage tanks ST-001 and ST-002 with new FRP tanks. 2. Replacement of three metering pumps and appurtenant equipment in the hypochlorite pump room. 3. Replacement of three chlorine residual analyzers and appurtenant equipment in the hypochlorite pump room. 4. Replacement of piping, valves and supports in the sodium hypochlorite pump room and tank containment area. 5. Replacement of flexible hypochlorite tubing between the hypochlorite pump room and the chlorine contact tank and between the hypochlorite pump room and the RAS pump station. 6. Replacement of the chlorine contact tank chemical induction unit. 7. Replacement of the hypochlorite pump room doors. 8. Design, installation, commissioning, startup, maintenance and decommissioning of a Temporary Disinfection System. 9. Interior painting of the hypochlorite pump room. 10.Replacement of lab sample sink and workbench. 11.Replacement of the containment area sump pump. 12.Associated controls, instrumentation and electrical work. 13. Programing of plant PLC-3 and SCADA for control and supervision of the Temporary Disinfection System and the Work as described in Section 17300 Appendix B. 14.And all other work as shown and specified. Engineer's Estimate is $1,105,931.00. |
